How do E liquids work?
E liquid recipes are composed of an atomizing base and the flavouring. They contain a combination of VG (vegetable glycerin) and PG (propylene glycol) that alters the properties of the e cig liquid.
Once you’ve pressed the firing button on your vape pen or enacted the draw-activate system, the vape juice in your tank is drawn into the atomiser. Inside the atomiser, your wicking material is wound around the coil. These two substances heat the e liquid to between 90-200 degrees and transform it into the vapour that you inhale. Vape juice operates on the same principle as water; once heated it is turned into steam.
E liquid UK products are composed of regulated materials that are tried and tested. They are safe for human consumption. As well as VG and PG, e cig liquids are composed of flavourings and nicotine.
However, not all e liquid recipes contain nicotine. Some compositions simply contain the base flavouring needed to mix your own ideal vape juice. These products are called shortfills, which are bottles which are not filled to maximum capacity. This means that there is space for advanced vapers to add in their own nic shot. Nicotine shots typically come in 10ml bottles, and contain an intense concentrate of nicotine in 11mg, 18mg, and 20mg strength options. Because nicotine shots are absorbed into the bloodstream quicker than your average e cig liquid products, we only recommend them for our more advanced customers who are accustomed to an intense vape hit.
How long does e liquid last?
E liquid UK products last for approximately one to two years. They are shelf-stable products, even once you have broken the seal and opened the bottle. Both VG and PG are natural preservatives, meaning that you can rely on your vape juice to stand the test of time. For individual queries, always refer to the bottle itself or ask the manufacturer.
Of course, how long your all-day-vape lasts depends on your personal vaping style. Heavy users will find that they run through e cig liquid quicker than more moderate vapers. We recommend 100ml e liquid products for customers who prefer to vape more throughout the day.
Can you use any e liquid in any vape pen?
Not all vape juices are compatible with all vape pens. You need to ensure that your vape juice is compatible with your tank. Otherwise, your tank can become damaged by ingredients in incompatible liquids.
● 50/50 e liquid recipes are the most versatile and can be used in almost any tank.
● High VG vape juice products are ideal for sub ohm vaping devices, which are designed to create immense clouds. Sub ohm pens are also known as direct-to-lung (DTL) kits.
● High PG e juices are ideal for mouth-to-lung (MTL) vape pens because both create intense throat hits.
● Nic salts provide the best overall experience when used in pod devices. Like high PG juices, nic salts are perfect for mouth-to-lung kits. We do not recommend nic salts for sub ohm vape kits.
How much does e liquid cost?
The price of any given e liquid UK product depends entirely on your preferences. UK products cost more because you are paying for ingredients that you can trust, as well as stringent safety procedures that ensure that you can vape in peace. In general, high VG compositions cost more than high PG compositions. High VG also burns quicker than its counterpart, meaning that you will have to restock sooner.
As part of our mission to make the UK smoke free, we’ve implemented a UK free delivery policy on all of our vape juice and hardware products. Finding your new favourite vape kit has never been more affordable in our online vape shop.
What strength nicotine e liquid should I use?
Some of the best e liquid uk products contain no nicotine at all. For example, a lot of shortfill liquids are used as base flavours and have 0mg nicotine. However, if you are looking for e cig liquid with nicotine, you should be aware that buying products with the wrong levels of nicotine can hinder your ability to transition to vaping. The ideal amount of nicotine is one that satisfies your nicotine cravings, without going overboard. If you choose a vape juice with a nicotine strength that you are unaccustomed to, you can experience harsh throat hits, dizziness, and sickness.
In order to answer the question, what strength nicotine e liquid should I use? You have to understand that nicotine strength is represented in milligrams per milliliter. In order to convert milligrams per milliliter to a percentage of nicotine strength, simply divide the number by 10. For example, an e liquid that has 13 milligrams of nicotine can be said to have a 1.3% nicotine composition.
Now that you know how to calculate nicotine percentages, how can you choose the right nicotine strength for you? Read below to find out.
How much nicotine in e liquid?
We offer five options for our customers. Choose between 6mg, 10mg, 12mg, 18mg, and 20mg strengths. As a guideline, people who are used to smoking 1-5 cigarettes a day should opt for 6mg nicotine strength products. Alternatively, our customers who used to smoke 20+ cigarettes a day feel more comfortable with 20mg strength products.
