It’s no secret that Elf Bar is one of the biggest vape brands on the planet, and disposable vape fans everywhere were blown away by their flagship device, the Elf Bar 600. But what if there was a new disposable vape set to rival the Elf Bar 600’s success? Well, say hello to the Dinner Lady Vape Pen Pro.
First gaining notoriety for their unique e-liquid flavours, Dinner Lady have stepped up their game by introducing their best disposable device to date, the Dinner Lady Vape Pen Pro. This brand new piece of kit boasts increased battery capacity and puff count, a sleek new design and ultimate portability which might just give Elf Bar a run for their money. But which device is better? That’s what I’m here to find out.
After trying out both devices and putting them to the test, I’m ready to share my findings. In this review, I’ll cover all the key features, design aspects, performance and flavour options offered by both brands to help you decide which device is best for you and your lifestyle. Let’s jump right in!

- Puff Count: 600
- Battery Size: 500mAh
- Nicotine Strength: 20mg
- E-Liquid Capacity: 2ml
Vape Pen Pro Vs Elf Bar 600 Features Comparison
When it comes down to the key features, the Vape Pen Pro and Elf Bar 600 are practically identical; but that’s far from a bad thing. As many vape fans know, the maximum amount of nicotine allowed in a disposable vape under UK law is 2% (20mg/ml), and both devices provide just that. This high nicotine content combined with their portability make both disposables a great option for ex-smokers and those trying to quit by providing a mouth-to-lung sensation with those all-important satisfying throat hits.
As well as sharing the same e-liquid volume and nicotine strength, both the Dinner Lady disposable and Elf Bar 600 house the same size battery. These devices are powered by a 500mAh internal battery, which has quickly become the gold standard battery capacity for disposable vapes. Both brands state that this battery size can deliver up to 600 puffs, and I’d say that’s pretty accurate. Each device lasted me a couple of days, which is what I’ve come to expect from a quality disposable vape.
Now that we’ve covered the key features, let’s explore how each device looks.

- Puff Count: 600
- Battery Size: 500mAh
- Nicotine Strength: 20mg
- E-Liquid Capacity: 2ml

- Rubberised matte exterior
- Size: 15 x 25 x 100mm
- Duckbill mouthpiece
- Rectangular shape
Vape Pen Pro Vs Elf Bar 600 Ergonomics & Design
Even though Elf Bar and the Vape Pen Pro are almost identical internally, it’s obvious when you place them side by side that there are a few stylistic differences when it comes to the exterior. The difference in shape was the first thing that caught my eye. Most of you are probably aware that the Elf Bar 600 sports a cylindrical shape, giving it that classic pen-style feel. Meanwhile, Dinner Lady have opted for a rectangular device with their Vape Pen Pro, which we don’t see too often in disposables. Nevertheless, the sharper corners don’t make it uncomfortable to hold, and both devices felt great in my hand.
I’m a sucker for the soft matte exterior found on the Elf Bar 600, so I was pleased to see that Dinner Lady have followed suit with their Vape Pen Pro. Both devices feature a smooth rubberised casing that’s incredibly soft to the touch and white embossed branding on the front face. I also appreciate that both brands have opted for a duckbill mouthpiece rather than a tapered drip-tip, as these devices sat comfortably in my mouth without any issues.
Moving on from the exterior, let’s find out what flavours each brand has to offer!

- Rubberised matte exterior
- Size: 15 x 18 x 105mm
- Duckbill mouthpiece
- Cylindrical shape
Vape Pen Pro Vs Elf Bar 600 Flavour Comparison
When it comes to flavour selection and variety, no other brands come close to the success of Elf Bar. Their flagship disposable is available in over 18 different flavour profiles, ranging from fresh fruits and sparkling soft drinks to unique sweet-shop treats. I find that Elf Bar flavours are consistently tasty across the board, so I’m able to savour the flavour until the very last puff. But if any brand is going to step up to the plate and rival Elf Bar flavours, it’s going to be Dinner Lady.
Dinner Lady first found fame with their quirky and original vape juice flavours, many of which we’ve never seen before from other brands, and their disposable range didn’t disappoint. While their selection is slightly smaller than Elf Bar, I still think 14 flavour options for a device that’s brand new is pretty impressive, and the taste is long-lasting, even when the device is running low.
One thing that’s important to note here is that both of these brands lack many traditional vape flavours, such as Mint and Tobacco. It’s clear that these brands focus more on creating fun and exciting flavour profiles, so they’re probably not the best option for fans wanting a more classic experience. Now that we’ve covered the flavour options, let’s check out what other products these brands offer.

Dinner Lady Vape Pen Pro Vs Elf Bar 600 Disposable Vape Ranges
Elf Bar has been in the game for a long time, so it’s no surprise that they’ve released multiple disposable vape ranges over the years. While the Elf Bar 600 was their flagship device and remains their bestseller, there are certainly some other honourable mentions among their later collections, including the Elf Bar NC600, T600, CR500 and MC600. However, my favourite new release from Elf Bar is undoubtedly the Lost Mary. I love the cute and compact design, and I find that the flavour is far more intense and long-lasting than any of their other disposables.
Dinner Lady were an early innovator in disposable vapes, but it wasn't until the release of their Vape Pen 2 range that they found a solid foothold in the sector. This device was a long-running fan favourite, but younger competitors entering the market had it beat on technical specs such as battery life and puff count. Luckily, the Vape Pen Pro is a huge improvement on its predecessor, boasting an upgraded battery, new shape and advanced exterior. Dinner Lady Vape Pen Pro Vs Elf Bar 600 Market Comparison
To get a better sense of how well these two devices perform, it’s important to look at where they sit in the disposable vape market as a whole, as more and more disposables are hitting the shelves every month. One of the first disposable vapes to make waves in the industry was Geek Bar, and they were once considered to be Elf Bar’s main competitors.
Although Geek Bar was once the best selling disposable vape brand, we’ve seen their popularity dwindle slightly over the last few months. There’s no clear-cut answer for why this might be, as they offer the same quality experience, puff count and battery size as the Elf Bar 600. However, Geek Bar hasn't introduced any new collections since their initial release, which may be why they’re not hot on everyone’s lips at the moment.
One disposable vape that rivals both the Dinner Lady Vape Pen Pro and Elf Bar 600 is the Elux Legend Mini. Although it shares the same key features as the Vape Pen Pro and Elf Bar 600, the Elux Legend Mini is available in a whopping 27 different flavour profiles, many of which are original profiles created by the brand themself. So if I had to choose one other disposable vape to rival the Vape Pen Pro and Elf Bar 600, it would without a doubt be the Elux Legend Mini.
With all that in mind, it’s time to reveal my final verdict!
Dinner Lady Vape Pen Pro Vs Elf Bar 600 Verdict
As I’ve mentioned throughout this review, the Dinner Lady Vape Pen Pro and the Elf Bar 600 offer a very similar vaping experience. Both devices sport a large battery capacity, high puff count and maximum nicotine strength, making them both an ideal vape starter kit for new users. Thanks to their size and portability, they also make great backup devices for advanced users seeking a pocket-friendly vape.
Although these devices are incredibly similar, the key difference between the two is the flavour range. Both brands serve up a great selection of sweet and fruit inspired flavour profiles, but the Elf Bar 600 has a few more flavours to choose from. So, if you’re struggling to choose between the two, I recommend taking the flavour selection into account. And if you do, it’s clear to see that Elf Bar takes the cake.
