How does it work?

To log in to your Klarna account
1 Open the Klarna app or go to Private login
2 Enter the email address or phone number associated with your Klarna purchases
3 Tap Confirm and Continue
4 You will receive an email with a login link or a text with a 6-digit verification code
5 Open the login link on the same device or insert the code into the app to log in
Good to know: The first time you log in to your Klarna account you will be required to verify both your email and phone number. Then you can choose your preferred login method.
Log in to the app to extend your due date. If the option to extend your due date is available it will be offered:
1 Go to Payments
2 Select the order you would like to pay later
3 Tap Payment options and tap Extend due date
If you postpone your due date any upcoming payments for this order will be rescheduled to be withdrawn monthly from the new payment date. You can see updated payment plans in the app by tapping Show plan on the order page.
Please note: If a change or update of an address is required once the order has been placed using Klarna, further checks will be required before any changes are processed by our team.
For our Pay in 3 instalments and Pay in 30 days payment options, your order is paused for 30 days.
If you have shopped with our Financing payment option, your order is paused for 90 days. During this period you will still be able to pay any amount if you wish to do so.
If placed on a COVID-19 payment holiday for one of our Financing payment options, this will not be reported to the credit bureaus and not impact your credit score. This will be made clear to you when agreeing to the payment holiday.
If placed on a standard payment holiday for either one of our Financing or Buy Now Pay Later payment options, we are obliged to report the status of your account to the credit bureaus on a monthly basis. This will be reported as an arrangement and may have an impact on your credit score. Once your payment holiday has finished this status will automatically be updated with the credit bureaus the following month.After the payment holiday ends your payment schedule will resume automatically or you can contact us again for further support. You can also contact us anytime during the payment holiday if you wish to end it and resume your payment schedule.
No. There is no set limit for how many purchases you can place using Klarna. However, the approval decision when shopping with Klarna can depend on the following:
• Your credit history with Klarna
• Your open debt and unpaid orders with Klarna
• The purchase amount of your shopping basket•
The information from the external credit lookup
Please note: Each time you use Klarna we are making a fresh decision. Restrictions are tighter for ‘new’ shoppers until we get to know you, and over time you will be able to spend more.

• Verify the legitimacy of unknown callers
• Destroy unnecessary documents in your name (e.g. bills, bank statements)
• Make sure that only you have access to your post
• Report and immediately cancel lost/stolen cards or identification documents
