Our Story

At myCigara, we exist to make the UK smoke-free. With nearly a decade’s worth of experience, we have grown to become a leading, trusted voice in the UK vaping sector.

Our journey began in 2012. Two brothers in the Sheffield area, both smokers, were introduced to the concept of e-cigarettes as a way of quitting smoking. It worked. Impressed, they decided they wanted to share their discovery with friends and acquaintances.

A few weeks later, grateful for having found a method for quitting smoking, their friends came back for more. Sensing a real opportunity to help others have an equally positive experience quitting smoking, the brothers decided to invest some proper time and effort into building a proper vape store.

They set about transforming their office space in Sheffield and in August 2012, opened our first brick-and-mortar vape shop. Soon after, with some investment from the market-leading Blackburn-based GM Group, they expanded to two more locations. Fast-forward 9 years and the Cigara name can be found across 13 retail stores from Dumfries to Dalston.

From the outset, our guiding principle has been putting our customers first —our key focus is, and will always be, on you.

Our Mission

Since opening our first store in Attercliffe back in 2012, we’ve continued to grow and expand. In April 2016 we opened our first London store in Bethnal Green; a month later saw the arrival of Cigara Dumfries, our first location in Scotland.

Today, Cigara stores can be found in thirteen separate locations across the UK, with particularly strong footholds in Sheffield and London. That way, we’re always nearby to serve and assist you on your journey toward becoming smoke-free.
