Dinner Lady made their first debut on the vape scene back in 2016, and for myself and countless others, their award-winning Lemon Tart e-liquid was a welcome introduction to this ever-growing British brand. Not ones for pigeonholing themselves as purely a vape juice brand, Vape Dinner Lady have since broadened their horizons and branched out into the realm of disposables, and their latest device, the Dinner Lady Vape Pen Pro, is set to be their biggest launch to date—and I’m here to tell you all about it.
Complete with a whole host of new and improved features to rival its predecessor, the Vape Pen 2, this latest device is designed to be the ultimate vape starter kit for beginners seeking a straight forward disposable vape; but it also makes a great handy backup for advanced users searching for a portable kit.
After getting my hands on this new range and trying them out for myself, I’m excited to share my findings with you. With no refilling or recharging required, I like that I can simply dispose of the device when it’s empty and grab another, making for a completely fuss-free experience.

I was pleased to learn that this Dinner Lady vape is powered by a 500mAh battery, which is a very common battery size for this type of device and a huge improvement on the 300mAh battery found inside the Vape Pen 2. Thanks to this larger battery, users can enjoy their vape kit for longer. In fact, the Vape Pen Pro delivers an increased puff count of 600, which is now considered the gold standard for UK disposables.
Arriving pre-filled with a 20mg nicotine salt formula, the Dinner Lady Vape Pen Pro is great for those who have recently quit smoking and those who are trying to do so, delivering swift and long-lasting nicotine relief with an authentic mouth-to-lung feel.

After removing the Dinner Lady Vape Pen Pro from its colourful glossy packaging, it’s clear to see that this device is more akin to a vape bar than a vape pen, sporting a sleek oblong shape that looks worlds apart from its cylindrical predecessor. Despite having a larger footprint than the Vape Pen 2, the Vape Pen Prois still reassuringly lightweight and compact, certainly small enough to carry around in your pocket.

I’m pleased to point out that Dinner Lady have swapped out the shiny metallic exterior of the Vape Pen 2 for a rubberised matte casing for their newest model, much like you’d find on an Elf Bar. Although slightly less eye-catching, I find that this exterior significantly enhances grip and feels much more comfortable in my hand, making for a more enjoyable vape experience.
I was also glad to see they’ve included a duck bill mouthpiece on their latest device, opting for comfort over style, whichI personally consider a huge advancement. The integrated ‘invisible mouthpiece’ of the Pen 2 never felt quite right to me, so I’m happy with this ergonomic improvement. But it’s important to point out that this piece of kit is far from unattractive. If anything, the Vape Pen Pro almost looks more premium. The embossed logo and pastel colours that represent the flavour inside is a nice touch, giving us a device that’s very on-trend and looks great in my hand.

Though you won't encounter many traditional flavour profiles, it's obvious that the Dinner Lady brand concentrates its efforts mostly on vibrant and fruity flavours. The bulk of their flavours contain fruit and fruit ice notes, with a few profiles that recreate popular sweets and soft drinks. As we’ve already touched upon, the Vape Pen Pro is not the first disposable vape that Dinner Lady has blessed us with; far from it. This latest device is a follow-up to their earlier device, the Dinner Lady Pen 2, which first hit our shelves last year. Nevertheless, after having the opportunity to use both devices, it’s clear to see that the Vape Pen Pro is the more superior kit.
When we compare the features of each device side by side, the improvements made to the Vape Pen Pro become apparent. Not only does it boast a slightly larger footprint and totally different shape, but it also houses a much larger battery than the Pen 2. While the Pen 2 contains a 300mAh battery, the Vape Pen Pro is powered by a 500mAh battery, which delivers up to 600 puffs as opposed to the 400 puffs provided by the Pen 2.
