Vuse made their first debut on the vape scene back in 2013, quickly causing a stir among the community with their innovative products. Initially sporting the name Vype, this brand was best known for their range of pod kits and corresponding cartridges, winning over the hearts and taste buds of vape fans everywhere with their premium hardware and unique flavour blends.

Fast forward to 2023 and Vuse are back on the scene to demonstrate yet another revival— their launch into the world of disposable vapes. With the popularity of disposables increasing like never before, it was only a matter of time before Vuse jumped on board with their own take on this compact and convenient style of device; bringing us the Vuse Go.

As a frequent vaper, I'm always on the lookout for new and exciting products to try. Recently, I had the opportunity to try out the new Vuse Go disposable vape for myself, and I’m ready to spill the beans. In this review, I'll be taking a closer look at the Vuse Go disposable vape and sharing my thoughts on its key features, design, and flavours to help you decide if this device could be the key to your quit smoking success. Let’s dive right in!

Vuse Go Features

Following suit of some of the most popular disposable vapes on the market, I was pleased to see that the Vuse Go incorporates many of the key features vape users know and love, and have come to expect from a quality disposable device. Arriving pre-filled, charged and ready to use right out of the box, this compact Vuse disposable requires no setup to get started, and I love being able to simply inhale on the device and go with no fuss.

Although the 350mAh battery housed inside the Vuse Go is a little on the small side, especially when compared to other popular devices, I was pleasantly surprised by its long lifespan. The box promised up to 500 puffs of use, and I’m pleased to report that I found that to be an accurate estimate, with each device keeping me backed up for just over a whole day of vaping. The 2ml pod capacity proved to be plenty, as even when the device was running low, I experienced no deterioration in flavour and vapour production.

Perhaps the most impressive feature of the Vuse Go is the ability to choose between different nicotine strengths. This Vuse vape is available in both 10mg and 20mg strengths, which is pretty uncommon in the realm of disposable vapes. I love that those trying to quit smoking can slowly reduce their nicotine intake while still sticking to a device they’ve come to know and love, making it that much easier to taper off nicotine over time.

With that in mind, let’s move on to the exterior.

Vuse Go Ergonomics & Design

When it comes down to appearance, Vuse has opted for a style that is widely familiar and well-received in the disposables industry. It's hardly surprising that brands like Vuse are inspired by industry titans like Elf Bar by taking on a cylindrical, pen-like appearance. This style of vape is perfect for disposables as it allows them to be compact and unobtrusive enough to fit in your pocket or bag while you're on the go, which I was easily able to do with the Vuse Go. It also boasts a tapered duckbill-style mouthpiece that sat comfortably in my mouth with no problems.

But the Vuse Go doesn’t just feel great, it looks great, too. The pen style device is coated with a semi-metallic and semi-matte exterior that looks as good in my hand as it feels. The colour of each Vuse vape corresponds to the e-liquid flavour inside and the exterior is emblazoned with the brand’s unmistakable logo. Upon inhale, I was greeted with a blue LED light at the base of the device, and the flashing function let me know when it was time to dispose of it and swap it out for a fresh one.

Moving on from the exterior, let’s take a look at what flavours are on offer.

Vuse Go Flavours

When it comes down to flavour, I was pleasantly surprised by the diversity that Vuse has up for grabs. Although they’ve started small with only 6 different profiles to choose from, it was a refreshing surprise to learn that the brand has managed to tick almost every category box. Not only have they included a handful of fruit options, but they've even managed to squeeze in more than one classic flavour profile to satisfy those with a traditional palate, something that even the most established disposable fans neglect to do. Each Vuse Go flavour falls into one of the following categories:

● Mint
● Classic

After trying out these Vuse flavours for myself, it’s safe to say that I can certainly see what all the fuss is about. Many brands struggle to make the transition from prefilled pods to disposable devices, resulting in inconsistent flavour that just doesn’t taste as good as their pods. However, with Vuse, this wasn’t the case. In fact, I found that the Vuse Go disposables pack a stronger flavour punch than their prefilled pods. In particular, I found their Blueberry Ice and Mint Ice versions the most potent, delivering consistent flavour, even when the device was running low. As I mentioned earlier in this review, the Vuse Go is the first, and currently the only, disposable vape range this brand has released. After first making a name for themselves with their successful range of pod kits, Vuse seemed to have remained laser-focused on this before branching out into the disposable realm.

Although the Vuse Go is still extremely new and hasn’t been in UK retailers for very long, it’s already stirring up plenty of excitement among its users. So, I think it’s safe to say that we can expect a future range of Vuse disposables in the near future. Here’s a quick breakdown of all Vuse vape products currently available:

Vuse Go Market Comparison

Although the Vuse Go is only just breaking into the disposable vape market, this device contends favourably with some of the top brands in terms of its features, design, and performance. Elf Bar are the market leaders for disposable vapes right now, however the Vuse Go functions remarkably similarly. Now that the Elf Bar 600 has recently swapped over to a smaller 350mAh battery, both products are practically identical when it comes down to the key specifications. Both devices offer a high-quality MTL experience that is practical and user-friendly. And personally, I find the Vuse Go packs a far stronger flavour punch than the Elf Bar 600.

Plus, the Vuse Go is still a worthy competitor in terms of performance and design when compared to other well-known brands like Lost Mary. The Lost Mary device is one of just a handful of disposables that houses a 350mAh battery, much like the Vuse Go. While these two devices share the exact same intrinsic properties on the inside, they couldn’t be more different externally. While the Lost Mary device is undeniably the most compact, if you’re a fan of the classic pen-style shape, then the new Vuse Go is certainly your best bet.

While there certainly isn’t a wide range of flavours to choose from, I’m pretty impressed by the amount of variety they’ve managed to include in such a small collection, covering the ever-popular fruit blends as well as a couple of traditional profiles.

Vuse have once again demonstrated their unwavering ability to create a stir in the vape market by developing a disposable device that offers the same potent power, puff count, and taste as the best-selling brands in the vape industry. This is by far the best disposable vape that I've had the pleasure to try this year so far, and I can't wait to see what they have in store for their customers moving forward.
